Cory Dixon (b.1988), is a painter originally from British Columbia Canada and has lived in New York since 2011.
​His studio work is concerned with contemporary history painting and monumental art making. Dixon's works are large paintings featuring life-size figures and depict colleagues, friends, and naked cowboys, in situations that contrast themes of heroism and vulnerability.
